SO 75 NW LULSLEY CP -

1/50 Outbuilding and hop kiln
adjoining rear NW corner
- of Charlton House Farmhouse

GV II
Outbuilding, probably former cider mill and hop store. Possibly C17,
altered in C19 with C19 hop kiln to north east gable and outshut to
north west elevation. Part timber-framed with wattle-and-daub and brick
infill, part brick; tiled roof. 4 bay plan, single storey and attic.
South east elevation facing garden has 3 ground floor casements, a gabled
dormer with casement and a planked timber door. South west gable end
has a door with cambered head and 2 small loft doors, and double doors
with cambered head to outshut. Interior C19 roof with 3 raking strut
trusses; doorways at both levels into hop kiln. Hop kiln in brick,
with a slate roof on a square base. Included for group value.
