C17. L-shaped with wings to west and south. 3 storeys. North side is
timber framed with close set studding on ground floor and 1st floor, wider
and thinner on top floor where there are 6 small casement windows. Some
diagonal struts. Wing at rear is later and is of brick with dentil blocks.
Interior, rooms on 1st floor on north and west are said to have C16 panelling
wiht frieze of jewel ornaments. RCHM volume II, page 40.

Nos 28, 29, 31 and the Falcon Inn form a group.
