Gates and gate piers. 1778 and 1897. Iron and stone. Double metal gates
bearing-inscription 'VR 1897', cast iron posts inscribed: "J O BRETTELL,
WORCESTER"; kissing gate to right; all flanked by 2 stone urns on brick
piers. The urns were formerly on the church tower, erected in 1778, and
moved to their present-position in 1909. The other 2 urns from the church
tower are now at The Old Hall (see 2 urns about 2 metres south of The Old
Hall). (VCH Vol 4, p 295).
