House. C17 and early C18. Timber-framing with brick infill and tile roof.
Left-hand (south) range of two storeys and two bays, framed in four rows of
square panels, with a further row of shallow panels under the eaves. Windows
are C20 casements. Door in right-hand bay within gabled porch. Chimney to
right. Adjoining to the right is a lower narrow range of C17 date connecting
the main building with two-storey cross-wing. This range has a window on the
ground floor. The wing is framed in square panels and of one bay. Its left-
hand return wall has a long straight tension brace. The roof is half-hipped
at the front, and the truss has raking struts between tie-beam and collar.
