Farmhouse. Probably C18. Timber-frame with brick infill, slate roof and
external brick end stacks, the left one on a large rubble base. Three bays.
Two storeys, three windows (boarded over at time of re-survey February 1985)
evenly spaced, central entry with gabled porch supported on two detached
wooden pillars. Attached to rear left on falling ground is a C19 extension
with a deep cellar. Forms a close upland farm group with the adjacent barn
and cow shelter (qv).
