Church, late C12 to C13 with later alterations. Stone. Nave, aisles, transepts,
crossing tower and chancel. C1200 6-bay nave with clerestory. Renewed
quartrefoil piers. Stiff leaf capitals to "East, North and South doors". Perp.
west window. Early C13 keeled east and west arches to crossing with stiff-leaf
carving. Crossing tower C15 rebuilt at top 1713 and balustrade 1797. Late
C13 chancel with red sandstone 3-light windows with moulded rear arches. Perp.
east window. Exceptional C15 stalls with 16 carved misericords. Tablet to
Hev J Holte dated 1734 by Thos White. East window 1908 by H W Bryans, West
window 1885 by C E Kempe. Jacobean communion rails.
