Former lodge to Brockhampton Court (qv Brockhampton Court Hotel), now
post office. Late C19. Brick with surface timberwork, sandstone rubble
plinth, tiled roof. Jacobean style. L-plan with entrance in angle of L,
axial stack with three decorative shafts. Single storey and attic with
attic storey projecting slightly and with coved soffit; 4-light mullioned
and transomed windows with latticed leading to casements to gable ends on
ground floor, one 2-light mullioned window to north gable and pair of
single-light windows to west gable, lean-to porch in angle.
