Country house. 1784, extended 1929. Stuccoed with hipped Welsh slate
roof. Earlier rectangular plan house with central entrance and axial stacks
extended to rear west in 1929. Two storeys with cellars and attics, moulded
cornice and parapet. East front: two-storey canted bays to ends; five glazing
bar sash windows. Central semi-circular plan portico crowned by wrought iron
grille, semi-circular headed inner doorway, decorative fanlight and half-
glazed door. Interior fittings date mainly from early C20 alterations to the
house. Central circular hall of interior echoes circular plan of entrance.
