Farmhouse. Early C17 with C19 alterations. Rubble, stone slate roof.
Three-room plan aligned north/south, lobby entry to stack between 2
southern rooms; gable stack to north end. Two storeys, irregular fenestra-
tion, first floor: two 12-pane boxed sashes, 4-pane fixed casement to right,
all under timber lintels; ground floor: shallow gabled porch of brick
flanked by two 12-pane boxed sashes, 2-light casement to right. Interior:
chamfered and stopped beams. Timber-framed partition between two northern
rooms, south side with C17 panelling and attached bench supported on
turned balusters. (RCHM 1, p 57, no 14).
