Dwelling, part formerly Inn. C17 or earlier. Rendered on timber framework, concrete tile roof. Two wide gables with C19 bargeboards, running back to ridge roof. Three storeys, three-windowed; C19 shop front with new door, one fixed sash and one sash without bars, ground floor; three two-light casements, first floor; two small casements with four panes in gables. Panelled and glazed door with flat hood. Beam with stopped end and 'peg' decoration on ground floor (similar to detail in Kingston House, q.v.), considerable heavy box framing (200 mm at 1000 mm c/c), propped roof principals. Fine newel stair with large, rough newel; small light to stair with leaded glazing. Cellar to left.
