Cottage row and public house. C17 with C19 public house. Nos 48 & 50, random
galletted rubble stone, red brick dressings, exposed timber-framing with one
wind brace on 1st floor of No 48, rendered on 1st floor of No 50. NOS 46 AND
PUBLIC HOUSE. Red and blue brick chequer, windows with arched retaining heads
on ground floor. Plain tiled roofs with ridge stacks to left and right and
large end stack to right. Gable of rear wing looms up over main range to right
behind public house. 2 storeys; irregular 7 window 1st floor, 6 window ground
floor. Public house and right-hand bay of No 46 more regular. 4 entrances,
at extreme right. (No 50), to right of 2nd window from left, (No 48), to right
of 3rd window from left, (No 46), and left of 6th window from left, (Public
House). Half-glazed door to public house, others boarded. Small flat hood on
brackets to public house, pentice hoods on brackets to others. Late C19 wing to
rear of public house.
