House. Cl7 or earlier. Timber frame dark weatherboarded,
roughcast front with dark weatherboarded apron. Steep old red
tile roof. Lower E extension of similar materials. A 2-storeys,
2-cell, central-chimney, lobby-entry plan house facing S. Near
symmetrical front with 2 windows to each floor and boarded door
in middle. 3-light divided casement flush windows (renewed).
One and a half storeys E extension has front roofslope
carried down over a front outshot. Gabled dormer on
roofslope with 2-light casement window and 3-light casement in
front wall to left of boarded double doors. Interior has exposed
framing, open fireplace to W room with axial floor beam. Stair
now rises at rear of stack with small room to E. Old plank doors
with iron hinges. A picturesque group.
