GV II

House, now 2 houses. C16 or C17. Timber frame on brick sill roughcast,
C19 Gault brick facing to Ground Floor front and red brick with flint at
S end. Steep old red tile half hipped roof. Dark weatherboarded rear
wing at SE (Timbers) and S gable upper part with steep slate roof. A 2
storeys cellar and attic, 3-cells, internal chimney plan house facing W.
W front has 3 windows to each floor and a door next the RH corner. The S
part (Timbers) has a flush 3-light window on each floor, a casement
above, a Yorkshire sliding casement below and a 4 panel flush-beaded
door. N part (Shangles) has 2 2-light Yorkshire sliding casements to 1st
floor, and 2 small canted bay windows with small-panes sash windows and
plastered aprons. External gable N chimney and entrance with 6-panel,
raised and fielded door up 2 steps with moulded hood on shaped bracket.
