House. C17, early C19 rear extension. Timber frame plastered.
Weatherboarded rear wing and 1st floor at S end. Front wall
renewed in plastered brickwork. Steep pitched roof to main
range now slated as rear wing. 2-room central-chimney lobby-
entry plan house facing W with 2 storeys and attics. 2 storeys
rear wing with internal gable chimney. Stair in angle of wings.
Symmetrical W front with 2 windows on each floor and central
door. Flush box sash windows with 8/8 panes and small hood to
ground floor. 6-panel doors in heavy moulded surround with full
entablature and flat hood. Attic lit by 6/6 sash window in gable
with one sash window on 1st and ground floor below. C19 casement
windows to rear wing, one above and 2 below. Axial ceiling
beams. Ground floor windows renewed 1983. Paired brackets to
front eaves overhang.
