House. Early C18, possibly with older parts. Red brick with
blue headers and steep-pitched old red tile roofs. A long 2-
storeys house facing E with 2 projecting gabled rear wings.
Possibly built as 2 houses with a symmetrical 5-windows long
house on right with central door, and 2 windows long house on
left with door where there is a blank area of backwork. No joint
in brick front, which has a chamfered plinth, projecting
floorband and fine gauged brick flat arches to slightly recessed
boxed sash windows with glazing bars. 6-panel door, raised and
fielded with top 2 panels glazed. Moulded doorcase with
entablature, swelled frieze and dentilled triangular pediment.
One central chimney and 2 end chimneys. Projecting gable stack
on S with tumbled brick offsets. Similar tumbled brick kneelers
to gable parapets. Timber framed tile privy linked to house by
brick-on-end wall, on E boundary.
