Farmhouse, now a private house. C16 E wing, C18 S extension to this
wing, altered and N gable chimney C17, N range later C20. Timber frame
part exposed to W and E but red brick cased with steep old red tile
roofs. A 2-bays framed house lying N-S with inserted floor formerly with
external N gable chimney and later S external C18 gable chimney added.
Former outhouse at S brick walled now part of house. Entrance now in
angle with C20 N range. Casement windows in each bay of older part and S
end of S extension. 6-panels of infill to frame in each bay on W side.
Interior has exposed frame of clasped-purlin roof on collars, curved
wind-braces, straight tension braces and heavy jowled posts in walls.
Rafters have assembly numbers. Square butted scarf joint in wallplate.
