House. C16 and earlier timber frame. Refronted late C18 with
parapeted red brick facade. Steep pitched plain tile roof with
large C17 ridge chimney stack of mid C17. 5 joined square shafts.
Tile-hung S gable end. Cross wing to rear N side. The front has
3 identical triple casements with Gothic top panes and flat
gauged brick lintels. Lobby entrance plan. C18 door with 2
trefoiled and fielded panels. Doorcase with Tuscan pilasters and
cornice. Truncated S extension. Remains of late medieval hall
inside (Pevsner (1977)).
