Public House. Probably C17. Large timber frame range with 2
good mid-late C17 chimney stacks. Early C20 roughcast front
with plaster ornament. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys. 7 recessed
sash windows. 2 half-glazed doors with deep cornice hoods on
heavy scrolled brackets. Deep Tuscan eaves cornice. Large
chimney stack on left centre has a square base with an oval brick
panel and 6 grouped diagonal shafts. Right stack has 3 square
shafts in stepped plan. The front has 2 large ornamental plaster
sign panels.
