House. Mid C18 with later alterations. Dark red brick, pantiled roof. 2
storeys, 4 bays, 2:1:1. Ground floor: door of 4 panels with overlight
flanked to right and left by paired sashes all with sills under segmental
brick arches. First floor: four 4-pane sashes with sills all under cambered
gauged brick arches. Stepped brick eaves cornice, tumbled-in brick to
raised gables, end stacks. Over the door is a early insurance plaque of the
MANCHESTER FIRE and LIFE ASSURANCE COMPANY, which is damaged (the scroll with the
word MANCHESTER' is now missing)
