Baptist Chapel. 1792 on datestone, with C19-C20 alterations and minor
additions. Brick in Double Flemish stretcher bond. Pantile roofs. Plan:
rectangular chapel with narrower contemporary single-room extension to rear
and small later outshuts in angles. Single storey 2-bay chapel with
entrance to gable end and single storey and attic single-bay section to
rear. Plain recessed 2-fold door beneath rubbed brick cambered arch with
inscribed datestone above. Left and right returns have round-headed windows
with rubbed brick arches and later glazing. Stepped eaves, brick coped and
tumbled gables. Section to rear has single C20 casements to each side,
stepped eaves, two blind recessed panels (probably former attic windows) to
rear gable with tumbled-in brickwork and end stack. Interior: contains
baptismal tank (now boarded over) and later C19 fittings.
