Terrace. 1849-50 for the Manchester, Sheffield and Lincolnshire Railway
Company. Brick with slate roof. Row forms north side of large courtyard
open to street on west. 2 storeys, 11 first floor windows. C20 glazed
doors under rubbed brick cambered arches and painted moulded ashlar hoods on
square brackets. 12-pane ground floor sashes with projecting cills and
cambered brick arches; shorter similar sashes to first floor (except for No
4 with C20 casements), Wooden eaves board,'gutter on moulded brackets. 6
axial stacks. Overhanging eaves to returns. Door to No 1 in left return.
