Farmhouse. Late C18 rear wing, mid - late C19 east front for Winn Estate.
Rear wing of coursed limestone rubble with brick dressings and stacks,
pantile roof; east front in squared limestone with red brick dressings and
stacks, plain tile roof. T-shaped on plan: 2-room central entrance-hall
front with 2-room rear wing. 2 storeys, 3 bays; symmetrical. Chamfered
brick plinth, quoins. 2 stone steps to chamfered brick 4-centred arch
entrance with C20 part-glazed door, flanked by 3-light casements with
glazing bars in chamfered brick surrounds with stone sills and rubbed brick
cambered arches. Moulded brick first-floor band. 2-light first-floor
casements in similar surrounds. Swept roof with overhanging eaves. Partly-
projecting end stacks with brick quoins and brick upper stages with twin
diamond-shafted corniced stacks. Rear wing has quoins, two 3-light ground-
floor windows with glazing bars beneath segmental header arches, 3 first-
floor 2-light sliding sashes with glazing bars and lintels at eaves level,
dentilled brick eaves cornice, hipped roof and large central axial stack.
