Garden statue of a peasant boy approximately 15 metres to south of Burton Agnes Hall

Garden statue. Probably mid C18. Ashlar plinth with lead statue. Plinth,
square on plan, with moulded base, panelled sides and cornice, approximately
one metre high. Statue of boy in peasant dress, standing with legs crossed
and holding a shepherd's crook, wearing breeches, shirt, coat and hat. The
whole approximately 2.25 metres high. Part of a group of C18 statues in the
garden.
