Almshouses, now 2 dwellings. 1726 with later additions and alterations.
Colour-washed brick with pantile roof. Single storey with attics, 6 bays.
End entrances have late C20 part-glazed doors. Entrances formerly to
central bays. 3 left-hand bays have 6-pane 2-light Yorkshire sashes,
otherwise 9-pane casement windows, mainly under cambered arches except
former entrances which have flat arches and moulded stone plaque above
inscribed "This Hospital was Founded / By Sir Griffith Boynton Bart / and
Erected AD 1726". Stepped eaves band. 2 raking dormers have casement
windows. Swept roof. Brick kneelers and copings. End stacks.
