Circa 1800, by W & J Middleton, a pair. Each has three storeys in red brick
with pantile roof. Bracket wood eaves cornice. Lead rainwater fall. Three
windows, gauged flat arches, near flush frame sashes with glazing bars.
Panelled shutters to ground floor windows. Centre wood doorcase with applied
attenuated Doric columns, plain lintel and bracket pediment. 6-panel door
with fielded upper panels and delicate wood fanlight. Original staircase.
Ornamental chimneypiece to No 72.
