Pair of cottages with outbuildings, now single dwelling with Post Office. C17-C18, altered early-mid C20. Roughcast
over rubble, thatched roof, half hipped on wing, large external stepped stack left. Plan: pair of 2 cell and cross
passage cottages, gable end onto road, with attached rear wing now containing post office. Garden facade: one and a
half storeys, 2:1 bays; early-mid C20 wood and metal casements, one 3-light and two 2-light dormer casements,
groundfloor 3-light casements flanking plank door left, 2-light casements flanking plank door right. Left return,
street elevation, first floor 3-light early C19 leaded iron casement dormer, thatch swept up to large external stepped
stack right with C20 2-light metal casement between, groundfloor early C20 shop front, bow window, 4 x 9 panes, 2-light
casement right, half glazed door centre left, entrance to Post Office. (Photograph in NMR).
