Deeds said to go back to 1656. Formerly one cottage. Front is C18. 2 storeys
coursed and dressed rubble, No 5 rendered. Slate roof. 1 window each, 2 light
with inner edge-roll and outer ogee moulding, flat mullions. No 5 has modern casements
on 1st floor and a small plate glass shop front on ground moor, No 6 has
cross glazed sashes. Paired doorways with single moulded flat hood on brackets and
idiosyncratic pediment. Modern doors.
