Inn, now farmhouse. Probably C17, refronted and extended early C19. Rendered
and colourwashed, pantile roof, coped verges, 5 large brick stacks. Double
pile plan. Two storeys, 4:2 bays, 12-pane flush mounted sash windows to first
floor; 2 flat-roofed canted bays to ground floor; that to left with paired
12-pane sash windows to its front face, 6-pane sash window to each side; that
to right with a 16-pane sash window to its front face, 6-pane sash windows to
each side; 2 further 16-pane sash windows to ground floor. Door opening
between fouth and fifth bays, 6-panelled door, top 2 panels glazed;
projecting pent-roofed tiled hood on wooden brackets.
