House mid-late C18 (rainwaterhead dated 1773) with C19 and C20 alterations.
Rendered brick, Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys with attic storey to wing; 6 bays
with wing projecting from left bay, rear stair tower, and outshut to rear
of bays 2 and 3. South front: main range is symmetrical, having central
door of 6 raised and fielded panels in moulded wooden architrave; ground floor
windows are sashes, 1st floor windows horned 12 pane sashes, all in moulded
stone architraves; C20 single storey verandah on stone podium has open
geometrical and trellis timberwork and slate roof hipped at right end; raised,
coped, verge and end stack to right gable; another stack to ridge between
bays 1 and 2. The wing appears to have been truncated having 2 late C20
16 pane sashes to 1st and attic floors; its inner (right) return has a wide
window to ground and 1st floors with architraves as before and a C20 casement to ground
floor and 16 pane sash above; on the left,at eaves, is scalloped
lead rainwater head with horse motif flanked by initial "IW" and date "1773"
Rear: stair tower has large 12 pane sash to 1st floor and hipped roof; on its
right is the added outshut of 2 storeys under catslide roof; to right again,
is a 3 light casement window to 1st floor with a 2 light window above,set under
eaves, the right hand light with stanchion and latticed leading. Left return
(wing): 6 fielded panel door in C20 porch, bell at eaves.

Interior: 6 panel doors in moulded architraves; window shutters; main range
ground floor right hand room has panelled dada with fluted rail, elaborate
dentil cornice and marble and polished stone fireplace with moulded
architrave,fluted pilasters, roundel insets and cornice. Rear ground floor
room of wing has corner fireplace of polished stone with moulded wooden
architrave.
