Cottage and Farmhouse

House, sometime cottages. C16. Timber framed and clad with red
brick and weather board with plain tiled roof. Lobby entry
plan 4 framed bays with projecting wing to rear. Entrance
front: 2 storeys with continuous jetty and hipped roof with
gablets and stacks to centre right, and free-standing end left,
of English bond brick, with a single large heart design in
relief on each face. Three glazing bar sashes on each floor
and ribbed and studded door to centre right in four-centred
arched doorway and moulded surround. Rear: projecting 2
storey hipped wing to left and red brick outshot to right
with gabled dormer. Irregular fenestration of wooden
casements.
