II
House. C16 with early and mid-C19 additions. Timber-framed core with
plain tiled roof, and painted brick wings with slate roofs. Originally
L-shaped timber framed building, the long range to right replaced by
early C19 wing, and later C19 wings added left and to rear. Two storeys,
with central projecting hip and part of returned roof line, the C19 slate
roofs stepped up to left and right. Six stacks ranged left to right.
Irregular 5 glazing bar sashes to each floor, and half-glazed door to
centre right in flat-roofed porch. Interior: few details of earlier
house; marble fireplace c.1820.
