Late C15 or early C16 timber framed house, refronted in the C18 and later,
but with the bressummer below the 1st floor still visible. 2 storeys, 2 windows
facing west, 4 windows facing north. Ground floor brick, 1st floor cemented.
Sash windows, lazing bars intact. The west front has a C19 fixed light shop
type window with angle corner and returned into Short Street. All glazing
bars complete, opening sash on corners. Pilasters complete with caps and entablature
with moulded cornice. Doorway withflat hood over supported on brackets.

Nos 21, 27 and 29 and Gas Lamp, Outhouse with Nos 54 to 60 (even) High Street
form a group.
