This unusually wide barn was probably part of the buildings attached to the
Palace of the Archbishops of Canterbury. C16. Waled timber barn. Red brick
on a cemented base. Hipped tiled roof with pentice to the west half of the
south front. Tie beams inside with diagonal braces and crown posts Passing
braces to aisles.
