Masonic Hall. 1850s. Stone with slate roof, 2 storeys
with basement and attic, 4 bays. Rusticated ground floor
has entablature with foliated frieze. Top bracketed frieze
and cornice; balustrade. Rusticated pilasters to ends and
framing entrance bay at right. Basement has tripartite
windows with roll moulded architraves flanking similar
entrance. Ground floor has round-headed blind windows
flanked by Venetian windows. Round-headed entrance Ionic
doorcase and shell-moulded tympanum with arms. 1st floor
windows have balustraded balconies, flat architraves
foliated friezes and consoled segmental pediments; that to
2nd bay has open pediment containing arms. Mansard roof
with flat topped dormers.
