Farmhouse. Late C17 and mid C18. Coursed squared ironstone, slate roof, blue
brick end stacks. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. Central part-glazed door
with overlight, reeded wood frame and flat hood. Approached by 6 semi-circular
steps. 12-pane sash windows either side and to first floor with stone sills and
lintels with keyblocks. Stone coped gables with kneelers. 2 and 3-light casement
windows to right side, and older C17 back range in coursed limestone rubble with
ironstone quoins. Interior: older range has good set of stop-chamfered beams and
original roof trusses of clasped principals with ties and collars.
