Lodge, known as the Old Post Office, now house. Early C19.
Stone with hipped slate roof. 2 storeys, 4 bays, central
bays project under pediment. 1st floor sill band and top
cornice. Windows sashed with glazing bars, those to 1st and
2nd bays of ground floor and 2nd and 3rd bays of 1st floor
have small-paned casements. Central canted porch has
unfluted Doric columns, triangular pilasters, frieze and
cornice; 6-panel door. 2 cross-axial stacks. Left return
has blocked entrance and horizontally sliding sash. Right
return has Doric doorcase with half-glazed door and
overlight; sliding sash.
