Probably C17. Enclosure with modern paving and central monolithic stone.
To the road a pink sandstone wall c. 8 ft high. Three bays, the centre one
slightly advanced and containing the entrance with iron-barred gate beneath
a shallow gable. In the wall either side, a barred opening. At the back,
the wall stands some 7 ft high and is incorporated in the wall of an outhouse
to the 'Great Stone' public house (qv). Left and right, now the public house
and Rose Cottage (qv).
