Farmhouse. Dated 1731(?) Coursed squared ironstone, plain tile roof, brick end
stacks. 2-unit central staircase plan. 3-storey, 4-window range. 6-panel door to
left of centre in wide semi-circular trellis porch. Narrow upright windows to
right of door and to first and second floors above door and to right, all with
timber lintels. Datestone with hood mould to middle of first floor between
windows inscribed M/JD/1731(?); figures rather effaced. To left of door a
single-storey bay window with hipped roof and brick base, 2-light wood mullion
and transom windows above bay and to ground and first floor far right and
2-light casement windows to second storey left and far right all except bay with
timber lintels. Quoins and stone coped gables with kneelers. Lower 2-storey
1-window addition to left with 3-light casement window to ground floor, 2-light
wood mullion and transom window to first, both with timber lintels. Attached
outbuilding range to far left. Interior has boxed spine beams and dog leg
staircase with turned balusters.
