moulded eaves cornice.

The northern part of the front, beyond the central entrance

INTERIOR: no part of the timber frame is exposed inside, the
interior having been entirely Georgianised. Stair to 1st
storey with turned balusters, closed strings and wreathed
moulded handrail. Windows with internal panelled shutters;
6-panelled doors with eared architraves.
On the top storey the balustrade to the stair is in Chinese
style. In the northern ground storey room, a fine Greek
Revival plaster frieze and cornice with circular paterae
between the triglyphs. The top storey of the front range is an
addition with a C19 roof; a lower rear range at right-angles
has a C18 side-purlin roof.
