Detached farmhouse. Dated 1780. Coursed rubble limestone; ashlar
chimneys; stone slate roof. Two-storey; parallel 2-storey range
to part of rear; single-storey with attic south east wing. Front:
3-window fenestration; outer 3-light mullioned casements, taller
to ground floor. Central 2-light upper floor casement and small 2-
light set above flat-roofed porch lighting hall, all having
hoodmoulds. Datestone set above doorway: 'C C / 1780' - Charles
Coxwell being Lord of Ablington Manor at this time. Ashlar gable
end chimneys with plain caps. North side: 2 gables, left with
projecting chimney on short corbel table. Central doorway with
plank door, single-light casement above. South side: blank gable
end to left; wing runs back to right with gable containing upper
floor 3-light recessed cavetto mullioned casement with hoodmould.
Rear: 3-window, 2-light mullioned casements to rear range, all mid
C19. Interior not inspected.
