Large barn. Early C19. Random rubble limestone; stone slate
roof. Nine-bay barn with 2 south porches and outshut; 2 north
porches. Each parapet gabled south porch has upper storey with
opening above barn doorway with timber lintel and plank door.
Square columbarium lantern to west porch with pyramidal roof.
Lean-to north porches with doors in thickness of main barn walls.
Many square vents. All gables have copings with stepped bedding.
Interior: 9-bay collar and tie beam truss roof. Barn has central
dividing wall. Stone flag floors. This large and imposing barn is
a good example of the local barn-building tradition extended into
C19.
