Rainwater head dated W.F. 1729. Symmetrical small 'polite' house retaining vernacular
features. Two storeys and attics. Ashlar. Cotswold stone roof to front, concrete
imitation stone tile roof (valley type) (to rear); coped verges, 4 ashlar chimneys.
Two gabled dormers. Five mullion and transom casement windows. Sand over ground
floor broken by cornice over central doorway, mid C19 four panelled door in panelled
reveals. More irregular to rear with large stair-window with arched tympanum having
key and impost blocks, and with 3-light mullion and transom window to right. Long and
narrow transomed back stairs window to east gable end. Mid C19 wing to south-east of
2 storeys; slate roofed. Four windows, 2 lights with mullions to 1st floor, 2 and
3-light segment headed on ground floor; pine-apple finials to gables.

Interior: good oak staircase with 2 turned balusters per tread, carved tread ends and
dado rail. There is evidence of considerable alteration especially at the west end,
corner fireplace retained on 1st floor.
