C17, but with modern extensions and much restoration of features. Coursed rubble
with steeply pitched Cotswold stone roof. Three storeys, 2 windows, 2 and 3 light
stone mullioned casements with drip moulds. Two large gables with finials. Ashlar
end stacks.
Projecting gabled wing to right-hand, altered 1902.
Typical 'Cotswold' elevation to south-east: 3 gables with raised coping and carved
finials; 2, 3 and 4 light mullion windows; twin square chimneys with moulded coping.
Altered for Sir Walter Essex circa 1902. Interior has C17 fireplaces.
