Dovecote. Mid-late C17. Random rubble limestone; stone slate
roof. Square. Parapet gable to each side with loft level 2-
light recessed cavetto mullioned opening with hoodmould.
Continuous upper floor level string course. Doorway on east side
with timber lintel and 4-panel door. Central square lantern with
pyramidal roof having ball finial.
Interior: walls lined by many pigeon holes and anti-rat string
courses. Single tie beam. Stands in important position on
northern approach to village.
