Former stable entrance for Barton Abbotts (q.v.), now entrance to
private courtyard formed by conversion of former stable buildings.
Mid C18. Tooled dressed stone up to impost band, ashlar above,
coped. Wide basket arch with tooled voussoirs and smooth enlarged
keystone and impost band. Double boarded doors with straight
heads, top of arch with fixed boards - all restored in C20.
