Detached house and attached outbuildings. Early C18. Coursed and
squared rubble stone with alternating flush quoins, stone slate
roof, stone end stack to left and ridge stack with offset and brick
flue, brick rear lateral stack. Single front range with rear
outshut, 2 storeys and attic. Four windows, 2-light stone mullion
and transoms with plain metal casements. Ground floor has similar
to far left and right, recessed 6-panel door in bay 2 from left
with bolection moulded panels, top 2 glazed, in chamfered stone
surround with flat moulded stone hood on curved wooden brackets,
and 3-light wood mullion and transom to right. Plat band above
ground floor. Single small gabled dormer with boarded gable and 6-
pane casements set centrally between stacks. Leaded 2-light stone
mullion in attic on left hand return, blind square attic panel on
right hand return and 2-light wood mullion and transom on first
floor. Rubble stone single storey former animal shelter of 4 bays
set back to left with chamfered square stone pillars, left end bay
filled in with doors and third bay with double doors at rear. Rear
wing at left end continues back with scattered triangular vents.
Inner angle of L-shape outbuildings not visible. Facade appears
to be of one build, although fenestration pattern suggests
otherwise.
