Large manor house. Late C17. Coursed and dressed stone with flush
quoins, stone slate roof, single stone ridge stack with offset and
moulded cornice and rear stone stacks. Single front range with
lower rear range with 5 small gables and 2 large gables. Two
storeys with 2 attic floors. Three large gables to front, each
with elliptical stone window in rectangular frame in apex, and
originally with 2, 3 and 4-light stone mullion with square
hoodmould below each, with relieving arches on lower 2 floors.
Left-hand gable has 2-storey early C20 projecting square bay
obscuring windows on lower 2 levels. Single lights between gables
to left and centre, 2-light stone mullion with square hoodmould
between centre and right gables with gabled ashlar-faced porch
below with Tudor arch and coped verge with kneelers. Inner
chamfered and stopped doorway with keystone and half-glazed arched
door. All fenestration leaded. Interior not accessible.
