Pair of cottages, now one. Late C17-early C18, extended mid-late
C18, extended mid-late C18. Limestone rubble; stone slate roof;
stacks (restored C20) with dressed stone quoins. Rectangular plan
with single-bay mid-late C18 extension to the right gable end. C20
extensions rear left not of special interest. Two storeys and
attic with a single-storey lean-to at the north gable end. Two
ovolo-moulded stone-mullioned casements to the ground floor of the
main body, two 2-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casements
above with spring stays. Two-light wooden casements with dressed
stone lintels to the ground and first floors of the C18 extension,
right. Blocked doorway with dressed stone lintel to the left of
the ground floor window; C20 segmental-headed plank door with
fillets to the left of the latter. Blocked doorway to lean-to with
single-light casement with double-chamfered stone surround to the
left; 2-light casement to the attic at the north gable end. Niche
containing a carved stone head above. Interior not inspected.
