Farmhouse adjoining Newbridge House (q.v.), dated and initialled
'H.S. 1790' on datestone on right gable end and C19. Rectangular
plan with 2-bay C18 range at right angles to C19 range. Small
garage/outbuilding with stone slate roof at left gable end of C19
range and large flat-roofed C20 glazed porch to C19 range not of
special interest. Coursed squared and dressed limestone.
Artificial stone slate roof to C18 garden front, concrete tile and
stone slate otherwise. Ashlar stacks C18 range; 2 storeys and
attic. Cellar with walk-in access from sloping garden.
Symmetrical, 2-bay garden front with rusticated quoins to C18
range. Paired C20 hinged sashes within plain C18 architraves with
keystones. Central plank door to cellar within round-headed
surround with keystone. Six-panel door in right gable end with
plain architrave. Flat stone canopy supported on moulded stone
brackets over door. C19 range; 2 storeys and attic with 2 and 3-
light casements within segmental-headed surrounds with horizontal
glazing bars. Sky-lights lighting attics.
Interior; round-headed panelled cupboard doors flanked by fluted
columns within C18 range either side of C20, C18 style fireplace.
Cellar; remains of stone spiral stair access in corner.
