Chest tomb and four headstones. C18. Limestone.
(a) Chest tomb with flat table to moulded edge, lyre ends with cartouches and
cherub heads, scrolls to north and south, figures in drapes, some lettering but
mainly illegible. The 1879 survey records Jeremiah Caudwell, 1747, he was a
clothier. Some very rich carved detail here.
(b) Two headstones c.3 m south of the last: one with cartouche panel, one with
drapes and carved head, to square top.
(c) Two headstones c.3 m east of the last: one has a 1759 date, otherwise
neither now legible.
